Our story started when we first began to see small spots of eczema on our firstborn Savannah  at 7 months old. At 2 1/2 she had her first anaphylaxic response to cow’s milk. We have walked many roads seeking answers on how to live a life as ‘normal’ as possible. Although it has been hard, I am also grateful. We know so much more about what health really is then we would have if not for this chapter in our lives.

Over the past 5 years we have identified triggers and barriers to healing including pollen and mould allergies, food intolerances (including salicylates and amines), chemical sensitivities, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and emotional stress. We’ve used many tools to overcome these triggers and help manage symptoms including Failsafe food elimination, NAET, intestinal bacteria profiling, genetic profiling, GAPS, Biomedical, candida elimination, holistic chiropractic and Siebecker SIBO protocol.

This blog will allow us to share these experiences as well as be a hub for general information related to allergies with you. My hope is that this tiny space in the vast domain of electronic information will encourage, share and reach others. I have much to share but there is so much more that I have not experienced! Numerous times I have read someone’s story and it was exactly what I needed to know, so I encourage you to comment and share because your input may just be what someone else needs to know. There are many suffering from all types of auto-immune related disease expressed in many different ways all over the world. It’s a phenomenon and an unfortunate epidemic that I just can’t wrap my head around.
